Name: Dennis White
Town: Stamford
Mazda’s owned: 1
Favorite time to drive: Early fall
Vehicle: 2009 Mazda MX5 grand touring
I am a relatively new member to the Mazda family, having picked up my first Mazda in summer of 2015. Despite having a small commute I have been racking on the miles. It’s a car that demands to be driven. I find myself making up excuses to take it for a spin. I chose the MX5 over other roadsters for sale because of its reliability and simple fun factor. It really is that cliché saying of “you have to drive one to understand.” I have made some modifications to my MX5 since its inception. The first was a Goodwin racing exhaust; it made the car have a sportier sound. Soon to be added is the sway bars and short ram intake. As impractical as it would appear, it has been quite a surprise how useful it can be in your daily life. 30 miles per gallon is a hard figure to get out of most convertible sports cars. I haven’t owned a Mazda for long, but it sure would appear that I will.
