What's New for 2025?
For the 2025 model year, the Mazda CX-50 receive a standard 10.3-inch infotainment screen and standard Amazon Alexa integration. In addition, the Mazda CX-50 offers enhanced i-Activesense® driver-assistance features across all models and a standard wireless charger on 2.5 S Preferred and higher trims.
Performance
Under the hood, the 2025 Mazda CX-50 is available with two unique engine options, all featuring standard i-ACTIVE AWD® and a smooth SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. 2.5 S models feature a SKYACTIV®-G engine with 187 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque, while 2.5 Turbo models use a turbocharged SKYACTIV®-G engine that produces up to 256 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque. As a bonus, the Mazda CX-50 provides up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity, allowing you to bring your favorite pop-up camper or boat on adventures.
Design
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Mazda CX-50 offers premium amenities like heated and ventilated front seats, leather-trimmed upholstery, and a power sliding-glass panoramic moonroof. With a longer wheelbase that provides plenty of depth, the Mazda CX-50 delivers a maximum cargo capacity of 56.3 cubic feet. Around the outside, the CX-50 features up to 8.6 inches of ground clearance, an optional rear power liftgate, and an available Rooftop Platform to help you haul your favorite bikes, kayaks, or rooftop tents.
Technology
2025 Mazda CX-50 SUVs offer plenty of connectivity on the go thanks to a standard 10.3-inch infotainment system with Amazon Alexa Built-in and support for Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Drivers can experience crystal-clear audio output with the standard 8-speaker or available 12-speaker Bose premium audio system. Plus, an available 360-degree View Monitor with See-Through View allows you to spot hazards while you're navigating tight spaces.
Safety
The 2025 Mazda CX-50 spares no expense when it comes to safety, with the previous model year winning the 2024 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ award. - 2.5 S Premium Plus - Comes with leather-trimmed upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a black metallic and machine-cut finish.
- 2.5 Turbo Meridian Edition - Highlights a SKYACTIV-G® 2.5 engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger, 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, and a matte-black hood decal.
- 2.5 Turbo Premium - Adds Active Driving Display, heated steering wheel, and Cruising and Traffic Support to provide added comfort when you're behind the wheel.
