Spring is well underway and we at Riley Mazda want to make sure your vehicle is ready!

Tire changeover: it's easy to forget to make an appointment to change over your winter tires. That said, it's important to make sure you have the right ones on because all-seasons and winter tires perform differently due to the tread pattern and how the type of rubber reacts under different temperatures. Our service techs can easily swap them out!

New wipers: April showers bring May flowers, so make sure your wipers are ready to take on the spring rains by ensuring they don't have any cracks. Even if you don't see obvious damage, it's good to get in the habit of changing them every 5-6 months.

Check your tire pressure: this you should do each month. Proper tire inflation helps with grip and fuel efficiency, and during the times of year when the temperatures rapidly fluctuate it's important to make sure you're at the right number. Your owner manual will tell you what that is.

Removing/replacing racks: if you currently have a ski or board rack on you'll want to get it removed to help with mpg ratings. If you want to purchase a bike rack, cargo box, etc., to replace your winter rack with, our parts center team can help you out!
